Selection Process

  1. The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Interview.
  2. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interview in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank.
  3. The candidates will be assessed based on the following attributes:
    • Technical (Academic) knowledge [40 marks]
    • General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) [20 marks]
    • Presentation/Communication Skill [20 marks]
    • Comprehension [10 marks]
    • Academic achievements [10 marks], totaling to 100 marks.
  4. Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60 marks in the Interview, and PwBD candidates will have to score 50 marks in the interview.
  5. For the generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to GATE Scores and 50% weightage to Interview marks.

  1. The application for online registration will be hosted on the ISRO website between 29.04.2025 and 19.05.2025.
  2. Candidates registered under the National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may apply by following the stated procedure.
  3. Applications will be received online only.
  4. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
  5. The applicant's email ID must be provided correctly and compulsorily in the application.
  6. The last date for submitting the online application is 19.05.2025.

  1. Photo and signature in JPG format
  2. GATE Score Card in PDF format
  3. Original documents in support of qualification, age, category, NOC from employer, etc., as and when called for by ISRO
