Selection process
- Shortlisting of Candidates for Interview: Applications will be screened based on NEET PG entrance examination marks/percentile.
- Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview to assess their suitability and merit.
- Physical & Medical Standards: Candidates qualifying in the interview will undergo a Special Medical Examination Board (SMB) for medical fitness.
- Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on "calculated NEET PG marks" and interview marks for medically fit candidates.
- Joining Instructions: Candidates from the merit list will be issued joining instructions for commissioning as SSC Officers, depending on the number of vacancies.

- Follow the instructions provided on the website.
Documents Required:
- Passport size photograph (not older than 06 months) – JPEG format, size up to 100KB.
- Scanned copy of Class X (Matriculation) Certificate/Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation as proof of date of birth (in English) – PDF format, size up to 200KB.
- Scanned copy of Final MBBS Part I & II attempt certificate.
- Scanned copy of Internship completion certificate.
- Scanned copy of NEET PG entrance exam score card.
- Scanned copy of PG Degree certificate, if any.
- Aadhaar Card.
- Matriculation Certificate (Class X)/Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation as proof of name and date of birth (in English).
- Permanent Medical Registration Certificate.
- MBBS Degree Certificate, PG Degree Certificate.
- Final MBBS (Part I & II) Attempt Certificate or Transcript Certificate.
- No Objection Certificate from present employer, if any.
- NCC Certificate, if any.
- National Board of Examination Certificate for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- Passport for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- 10 passport size photographs (not older than 06 months), photo identity proof, and address proof.
- Gazette Notification or any other official document clearly highlighting the new name, if there is any name change after Matriculation (Class X).
- Attestation Form in five copies, duly filled in and attested by Competent Authority.
Summary of Salary:
- Rank on commissioning: Captain (or equivalent in Navy/Air Force).
- Basic Pay: ₹61,300 (Level 10B of the Defence Pay Matrix).
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per city category (X, Y, Z).
- Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA): At prevailing rates.
- Transport Allowance: ₹3,600–₹7,200 based on city category (X, Y, Z).
- Dress Allowance: ₹20,000 annually.
- Dearness Allowance (DA): As per prevailing rates.
